Duration: How long does an A2 German course last?

The individual courses A2.1 and A2.2 each consist of 48 class sessions, each lasting 60 minutes. Over the course of 96 class sessions, you will learn everything you need to know for the entire A2 level, in accordance with the language proficiency levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

A German course in Berlin at DeutschAkademie lasts 4 weeks at all levels from A1 to C2, including the intensive courses. The only exceptions are the semi-intensive courses (8 weeks) and weekend courses (12 weeks). Private lessons and corporate courses are arranged individually.

Many of Berlin’s most important sights are also within easy walking distance, such as the TV Tower, the World Clock, Museum Island, Berlin Cathedral, the newly reconstructed Berlin Palace, Humboldt University, Hackescher Markt, and of course the Spree River with its many cafés overlooking the water.

Our language school is located in the “Haus des Lehrers.” The historic building has been completely renovated and is situated directly across from the Alexa shopping mall. Large windows, bright rooms, a beautiful view of Alexanderplatz, and modern amenities create a pleasant learning environment.
