Test-DaFtelcB1+B2DSH

TestDaF in Munich (B2 & C1)

The TestDaF (Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache) is a nationwide standardized language test that is officially recognized in the language entrance examination for German universities. Passing this examination entitles you to study at a German university.

Taking the exam

The test is standardized and is evaluated centrally by the TestDaF Institute. The four parts of the examination are then each assigned to a TestDaF level, which correspond to

  • TDN3 -> B2(2)
  • TDN4 -> C1(1)
  • TDN5 -> C1(2)

If you require the TestDaF exam to study in Germany, we recommend you to inform yourself ahead of time which level you require. Most universities require TDN 4.

You can take the exam at selected examination centers.

telc certificate in Munich (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 & C2)

In Germany, the telc language test is the completion of the integration courses. Anyone wishing to apply for German citizenship can demonstrate the required language skills with a telc certificate. In all German-speaking countries, telc German certificates are recognized when it comes to residence permits.

Internationally, telc certificates are widely recognized by companies, government agencies, schools and universities.

Taking the exam

telc examinations are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR):

  • A1 and A2: Elementary use of language
  • B1 and B2: Independent use of language
  • C1 and C2: Competent use of language

You can take the exam at selected examination centers.

Zertifikat Deutsch in Munich (B1 & B2)

We are happy to support you if you would like to officially prove your German language skills for your job or studies.

The Zertifikat Deutsch (ZD) is an internationally recognized language examination by the Goethe-Institut and is offered at various levels.

Taking the exam

  • Zertifikat Deutsch B1 certifies that you can use the German language independently and shows that you can cope well in German in most everyday situations. The B1 certificate is also a requirement for obtaining German citizenship.
  • Zertifikat Deutsch B2 confirms an advanced knowledge of German and is also popular with employers. In many countries, the B2 exam is the entry requirement for entering into a program of German studies.

DSH-exam in Munich (B2, C1 & C2)

The DSH examination is usually a requirement to study at a German university. The abbreviation “DSH” stands for “Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang”.

With this exam, applicants from abroad who have not completed their Abitur, the German school-leaving certificate which qualifies a student for University admission, show that they are able to understand lectures and seminars and can read academic texts without difficulty.

Taking the exam

You can take the exam directly at the university where you wish to study or at other test centers throughout Germany.

The evaluation of the exam is done centrally. Depending on the percentage achieved, you will be given a DSH level:

  • DSH-1 (B2): 57-66%
  • DSH-2 (C1): 67-81%
  • DSH-3 (C2): from 82%

For most courses of study the level DSH-2 is required.
