What can I use the telc B1∙B2 Pflege certificate for?
The telc B1∙B2 Pflege certificate is an important qualification for employers and careers in the care sector – and is often even a prerequisite when applying for jobs in this field.
How can I best prepare for the B1∙B2 Pflege exam?
With our German course for nursing staff in Hamburg, you will learn specific vocabulary and specialist terminology for the care sector, as well as the skills needed to communicate effectively with patients, residents, doctors, colleagues and supervisors. This course provides you with the best possible preparation for the B1/B2 care exam, but does not guarantee that you will pass the exam.
What is the procedure on the day of the exam?
No later than 3 days before your exam, you will receive an email containing all the information you need about your exam day. It is important that you arrive on time. If you arrive late, we will not be able to admit you to the exam.
Please report to the office first, where your official photo ID will be checked. You will also be told in which room your exam will take place.
You will then need to hand in your personal belongings at the cloakroom – for example, bags, jackets, mobile phones, smartwatches, etc.
After the written exam, we will let you know when your oral exam is due to take place. You will either have time to take a break and leave the premises, or you will proceed directly to the waiting room.
From there, you will proceed to the preparation room, where you will prepare for the oral exam.
We will then escort you to the examination room.
Once that is over, you will have completed the exam and can return to the cloakroom to collect your personal belongings.
Further information – before the exam

In a combined examination, you sit both the written and oral parts on the same day. It is important that you keep the whole day free, as there may be a long break between the written and oral examinations.
At the DeutschAkademie in Vienna, Hamburg and Munich, you can also sit partial exams – either just the oral part or just the written part. This allows you to easily complete whatever you still need to pass the full exam.
