Where can I go get glasses in Munich?

Hello everyone!

This is Juhee again. Today I want to share some very useful information with you.

Recently I noticed that I could not read the board during German class. Since I read and use my smart phone a lot, my

eyesight had gotten worse. I needed to get glasses. I heard that glasses are very expensive in Europe, especially in

Munich. I asked my classmates who wear glasses and they gave me a really good tip!

There is a store called Ace & Tate and there are lots of frames that you can try on. It cost me 98 Euros for the frames and

the lens. Ace & Tate is fairly close to Deutsch Akademie. If you want, you can walk there. It takes 30 minutes.

If you don’t want to walk, take the U6 subway line from Marienplatz to Universität Station.

The staff at Ace & Tate is very kind and helpful. I ordered my glasses and had to wait 7 to 14 days to get them.

They send you an email then you can go and pick them up.

I didn’t check my eyesight there but you can check it if you need to. Also Ace & Tate is right next to the University.

There are lots of restaurants and coffee shops where you can hang out.

I hope this information is helpful for people who need to get glasses in Munich.
