A powerful easy tool: Basic Vocabulary Builder

Hi all,

German Vocabulary is usually accounted to be tough and difficult to learn… in particular those like me that come from a latin-language background (spanish, italian, french, portuguese), might have a hard time in trying to memorize german words and verbs that have a totally different root than our “latin counterparts”.

There’s a pretty useful tool developed by DeutschAkademie and that’s called

Basic Vocabulary Builder. 19 chapters that you can download as mp3 files and easily listen when you bike, ride the u-bahn, run or whatever you do in your free
time!

Each chapter has a different specific topic, like “school and education”, “feelings”, “house and living”, “city and traffic” and so on…

The package also include a printable version of the Vocabulary Builder so that you can have a written reference for what you learn by ear.
