Finally, the time has come: Summer is here! Would you like to use these months to learn German? Then our summer courses are just right for you! In our summer courses you can easily and effectively improve your German language skills and deepen your knowledge of spoken and written German.
You can take part in the DeutschAkademie Dortmund’s summer courses easily online and from any location. If you prefer an in-house course, that’s no problem, because our native-speaking teachers are also there for you on site.
Our summer intensive courses
You will achieve rapid learning success with our intensive German courses. This format is perfect for you if you want to reach your target in a short time. Our intensive courses take place four days a week, Monday to Thursday, online – or on site in Dortmund.
In our summer intensive courses, you will quickly increase your level of German and our excellent teachers will help you build your skills every day.
Learn German twice a week in summer
If you would like to learn German at a less intensive pace, we recommend that you attend a semi-intensive course. This German course takes place twice a week, either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday.
Our semi-intensive courses can also be booked as evening courses. With this format you can use your summer evenings to consolidate your German on the one hand – and enjoy the diversity of Dortmund on the other.
Summer courses also on weekends
If you are busy during the week and have little time to learn German, a weekend course is an excellent option. Our weekend courses run over a period of 12 weeks. Classes always take place on Saturday mornings, for 4 hours.
In our online weekend courses you can use the Saturday mornings for intercultural exchange with the other students in your class and also create friendships all over the world.
Native speaking teachers
If you decide to take part in a DeutschAkademie Dortmund summer course, you will have very good German teachers to support you in your German course. Many of our teachers are trained as DaF teachers (DaF=Deutsch als Fremdsprache at university) or as pedagogues.
Our summer courses in Dortmund or online are a lot of fun. During your course you will practice listening, speaking, reading and writing and improve your skills in all 4 areas.
