How does our placement test work?

2. Complete the placement test.
If you have no previous knowledge at all or have only lived in Germany for a short time, the placement test is not necessary. The test takes about 10-40 minutes.

- Do not guess! Only select the answers you are sure about and skip the answers you do not know.
- Do not use any help. You should take the placement test on your own so that we can get an impression of your knowledge.
- Take our placement test at a quiet time and not in a hurry.
3. If the results are unclear, an oral test is also necessary.
If an oral test is necessary, you will be asked to request an oral conversation at the end of your placement test. We will then send you an e-mail with the link for your personal oral test within 24 hours (Mon-Thu) or 48 hours (Fri-Sun).
The test will take only a few minutes and can be done any time you want. Simply click on the link in the email and follow the instructions.
