Hygiene Rules for In-house Courses 2G-Plus Model of the DeutschAkademie Berlin
In order to protect our participants and staff from a further spread of the Covid-19 virus, the DeutschAkademie is committed to working according to the legal requirements of the 2G-Plus access model.
With this concept, we implement the requirements of the Fourth SARS-CoV-2 Infection Containment Regulation (InfSchMV) as amended on 11.01.2022 (https://www.berlin.de/corona/massnahmen/verordnung/). We point out the compliance with this concept and ensure the compliance with the measures specified in this concept.
According to this, the following guidelines apply:
Participation in a 2G+ in-house German course is only allowed according to the following conditions:
1. Case: 3 vaccinations
2. Case: 2 vaccinations (14 days after the second vaccination) + + rapid test (not older than 24 hours) or PCR test (not older than 48 hours) -> Tests must be presented each course day. Self-tests are not valid.
3. Case: 2 vaccinations + recovery (Proof of recovery not older than 6 months; otherwise case 2 is valid)
5. Case: Recovered (Proof of recovery not older than 6 months) + 1 additional vaccination
You must prove this with a digital or printed vaccination certificate and/or recovery certificate and/or official test certificate before entering the school. Self-tests are not valid.
The DeutschAkademie is allowed to exclude participants who cannot show a valid vaccination, recovery certificate and official test certificate from class without any reimbursements of costs, in order to protect other participants and employees. We only accept vaccines against COVID-19 that are approved in the EU. Please have your proofs with you all the time.
The wearing of a medical mask is mandatory for the entire duration of the lessons and in all public areas of DeutschAkademie. Participants are responsible for providing their own medical mouth and nose protection.
Please also note:
If the course cannot be held at DeutschAkademie due to force majeure, the course will take place onlinewithout any reimbursement of costs.
Obligation to report suspected corona or corona disease
If, despite having been vaccinated or having recovered, students show the typical symptoms of an infection with the coronavirus (increased temperature from 37.5°C, cold symptoms or respiratory illnesses), they will not be allowed to enter the premises of the DeutschAkademie or to take part in lessons.
The same applies in the case of contact with an infected person or a positive test for Covid-19, but also in the case of a suspected possible infection. In such a case, a person responsible at the DeutschAkademie must be informed immediately so that any chains of infection can be stopped as quickly as possible.
Persons present shall be made aware of this by means of written notices.
Persons who develop symptoms typical of Corona during their stay must leave the premises of the DeutschAkademie, go into domestic isolation and contact their family doctor for clarification.
Hygiene measures for the implementation of lessons in the 2G-Plus model
Frequently touched surfaces and sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly.
Care is taken to ensure that the interior rooms are sufficiently ventilated with fresh air. For this purpose, the operating rooms are ventilated regularly. Ventilation must be carried out at least once an hour. All available possibilities for maximum ventilation are used. Care is taken to ensure that cross-ventilation takes place whenever possible. If possible, windows and doors shall remain open at all times.
The wearing of a medical mask is mandatory for the entire duration of the lessons
Queues are to be avoided.
The use of public transport is subject to the hygiene rules displayed there.
Stay in the building: breaks, leaving & entering the DeutschAkademie
When entering and leaving the DeutschAkademie or changing rooms, hands must be washed or disinfected. Disinfectants are available at the entrance, in the toilets and in front of the office. In the stairwell and in the corridors, make sure to walk on the right.
Room hygiene at the DeutschAkademie
The premises are cleaned and disinfected even more frequently than usual. This applies in particular to contact surfaces such as door handles and tables, as well as the sanitary area.
This hygiene concept shall be displayed in a clearly visible manner. Hands must be disinfected before entering the premises. Signposted disinfectant dispensers with the request to use them when entering the premises are provided by the DeutschAkademie. Soap, towel and disinfectant dispensers are regularly checked and refilled.
Disinfectants for surface disinfection are available in the classrooms. The workplaces are to be cleaned by the pupils before and after lessons.
The sanitary rooms are equipped with liquid soap, disposable towels and disinfectants.
Personal hygiene at the DeutschAkademie
Students are encouraged to wash their hands regularly (wash hands with soap for 20-30 seconds) or to disinfect their hands. The DeutschAkademie ensures that this is possible.
Coughing and sneezing etiquette must be observed (cough or sneeze into the crook of the arm or into a tissue). If possible, touching eyes, nose and mouth as well as physical contact between pupils is to be avoided.
The measures will become effective on 15.01.2022.
If the official requirements change, this hygiene concept will be adapted accordingly. (Status updated January 14th, 2022)
Compliance with the above measures is monitored and regularly checked by the employees of the DeutschAkademie. This hygiene concept is made known to all employees by means of instructions and notices.
Do you have symptoms? Call 116 117 and inform the office so we can take any further steps. Please note that the DeutschAkademie reserves the right to send participants with flu-like symptoms home.
