Studying in the library for the best German classes in Berlin!

Sandra, 24. September 2019
After the best German classes in Berlin I like to finish my homework right away and what better place than to go to one of the many public libraries in Berlin. As of now I have been doing a tour of them.
While visiting the Humboldt-Bibliothek, I found out it opened in 1989. From the outside it has a classical and reserved look and inside an impressive spatial experience.
It is also a cultural meeting place where exhibitions, readings, concerts and award ceremonies, so take some time of your day to see it for yourself.

Der Mitte Kiez

Sandra, 23. September 2019

The oldest area of Berlin lies in Mitte (middle). It holds most of the city’s top attractions, so when I moved to this Kiez (neighborhood), I had plenty to discover 🙂
Between 1961 and 1990, Mitte was part of East Berlin, closed to the West and surrounded by the Berlin Wall. Checkpoint Charlie – the iconic border crossing, still exists for tourists to go back in time and cross from one side to the other. These are just a few tidbits about my new neighborhood and each and every one of Berlin’s Kiez has it’s own special charm and history.
